Key stages of innovative teaching techniques implementation.

Abstract

The paper reveals step-by-step of the onnivative techniques implementation into Maritime English teaching in the higher maritime education establishments. It is argued that due to the immense changes in the sphere of professional training which are caused by the need to provide the labour market with the highly competitive employees who are able to think critically and constantly develop their knowledge and skills it is especially important to shift to developmental, inquiry-based, problem-based and research forms, methods and techniques of teaching. It is stated that the implementation of the innovative teaching techniques to the process of future seafarers professional training as well as to the teaching materials creation and development, to the integration of up-to-date platforms for the on-line teaching and the adjustment to the students’ needs in the real time environment can enhance the effective formation of all vital professional skills and competencies formation and provide for the professional training of the new generation of employees able to act efficiently in term of global maritime environment. At the same time the paper focuses on the fact that the process of this or that innovative teaching technique choice and implementation has to be thoroughly thought off and planned because the effectiveness of a certain teaching innovation greatly depends on the level of the innovative changes perception and the actual possibilities of their implementation. В роботі розглянуто поетапний процес впровадження інноваційних технологій під час вивчення морської англійської мови в закладах вищої морської освіти. Стверджується, що у зв’язку із значними змінами в професійній підготовці здобувачів вищої освіти, які зумовлені необхідністю забезпечення ринку праці конкурентоспроможними фахівцями, здатними критично мислити та постійно розвивати і вдосконалювати свої знання та навички, особливої актуальності набуває перехід до розвивальних, пошукових, проблемних та дослідницьких форм, методів і технологій навчання. Зазначено, що залучення інноваційних технологій навчання до професійної підготовки майбутніх судноводіїв та до створення навчальних матеріалів, інтеграція сучасних платформ для онлайн-навчання та адаптація до потреб здобувачів у реальному часі сприяють ефективному формуванню цілого комплексу необхідних професійних компетенцій та забезпечують підготовку нового покоління фахівців, здатних ефективно діяти в умовах глобалізованого морського середовища. Водночас, акцентується на тому, що процес вибору та впровадження тієї чи іншої інноваційної технології має бути ретельно продуманим та спланованим, оскільки ефективність певної інновації значною мірою залежить від рівня сприйняття інноваційних змін та наявністю в них реальних можливостей здійснення.
