Quotations in the fictional text (based on the detective novels of D. Brown).

Abstract

У статті розглядається проблема цитати як форми інтертекстуальності, аналізуються наукові підходи до визначення функцій цього феномена у художньому творі. На основі вивчення доробків дослідників створюється класифікація функцій цитати в англомовному детективному романі. Особлива увага приділяється виявленню цитат в детективних романах Д. Брауна та визначенню їх функцій. The article is devoted to the problem of quote as an intertextuality form. The author analyzed the scientific approaches for determining the quote function in the literary text. On the basis of the researchers’ papers the author created the quote function classification in the English detective novel. Particular attention is paid to the quote identification in D. Brown’s detective novels and the defining of quote functions.
