Апробація та вдосконалення новітніх методів навчання на другому етапі впровадження компетентнісного-комунікативного підходу в системі ступеневої підготовки фахівців морської галузі (2015-2016 н.р.).

Abstract

У статті подано відомості про другий рік ходу дослідно-експериментальної роботи, яка проводилася в Херсонській державній морській академії (формувальний етап 2015–2016 н.р.), сформульовано завдання; розкрито теоретичні та методичні засади впровадження компетентнісного підходу в навчальний процес. Описано етапи апробації та вдосконалення запроваджених нововведень, які відбувалися паралельно з впровадження компетентнісного підходу в навчально-виховний процес академії. In the present article the information about the course of the research and experimental work that was performed at Kherson State Maritime Academy during the second year is given (forming stage 2015-2016 academic year); the task is formed; theoretical and methodological fundamentals of competency-based approach implementation into educational process are revealed. The stages of approbation and improvement of the innovations, which were introduced simultaneously with the implementation of competency-based approach into educational process of the Academy, are described. The work was continued on improvement of curricula and implementation into academic process of certain courses of simulator training aimed at forming skills to be used in work with sophisticated ship equipment (electronic chart display systems, radio and electronic navigation equipment etc.) as well as skills connected with safety at sea (work with firefighting equipment, survival crafts, medical first aid on board ship, cargo operations with heavy lift cargos and containers etc.). In the second year of the experiment the material-and-technical and training facilities were considerably enhanced and enlarged; it allowed to increase the quality of theoretical training and formation of cadets’ professional skills. Significant attention was paid to highlighting of the experiment results – issue of monographs, learning guides, publications in professional and foreign editions, participation in all-Ukrainian, international conferences, obtaining of patents, preparation for printing of study guides etc.
