Abstract

In this article the author describes the technique of teaching Maritime English communication based on case-technologies, as its implementation will provide a high proficiency level of the future deck officers, and characterizes the features of its implementation in maritime education. The use of this technology facilitates professional development, provides an opportunity to solve the problem by analyzing its components, involves cadets in solving collective professional issues; allows to activate their knowledge of professional disciplines; transform theoretical knowledge into practice.
