Навчально-методичне забезпечення підготовки суднових механіків у процесі вивчення англійської мови

Abstract

таття аналізує елементи навчально-методичного забезпечення підготовки майбутніх суднових механіків у процесі вивчення англійської мови (АМ) та АМ за професійним спрямуванням (АМ за проф. спрямуванням). Описано державні стандарти освіти з урахуванням Закону України «Про вищу освіту». Проаналізовано навчальні плани та навчальні програми дисципліни «АМ» та «АМ за професійним спрямуванням». У нашому досліджені описані елементи програми навчальної, виробничої та інших видів практик (Книга реєстрації практичної підготовки кандидата на присвоєння звання механіка 3го розряду). Проведено детальний аналіз підручників і навчальних посібників для вивчення АМ майбутніми спеціалістами морської галузі (Outcomes Student’s Book (elementary level); While ashore: coursebook; On the beam Student’s book; Welcome aboard Student’s book; Seven Seas ahead Student’s book; Full Ahead Student’s book; Ship’s heart Student’s book). Структура підручників, компетентності, які має досягти студент, назви розділів, додаткові матеріали посібників були описані у нашій роботі. Проаналізовано інструктивно-методичні, індивідуальні, навчально-дослідницькі завдання, контрольні роботи, текстові та електронні варіанти тестів для поточного і підсумкового контролю, методичні матеріали для організації самостійної роботи студентів, виконання індивідуальних завдань у LMS MOODLE. Наразі задля покращення якості оволодіння АМ студентами та курсантами проходить впровадження системи змішаного навчання (інтеграція очного та електронного (дистанційного) навчання) Доведено, що все навчально-методичне забезпечення підготовки суднових механіків у процесі вивчення АМ відповідає вимогам Міжнародної конвенції про підготовку і дипломування моряків та несення вахти (ПДМНВ), основане на положеннях компетентнісного та комунікативного підходів. The article analyzes the elements of teaching and learning materials for the training of future ship engineers in the process of studying the English language (EL) and Specialized Maritime English. The standards of education are described according to the Law of Ukraine "About Higher Education". The educational curricula of the discipline "EL" and " Specialized Maritime English" are analyzed. Our study describes the elements of the curriculum, production and other types of practices (Training record book for candidate for certification of officers in charge of an engineering watch). A detailed analysis of textbooks and manuals for the study of EL by future specialists in the maritime industry (Outcomes Student's Book (elementary level); While ashore: coursebook; On the beam Student's book; Welcome to the Student's book; Seven Seas ahead Student's book; Full Ahead Student's book; Ship's heart Student's book). The structure of the books, the competences to be achieved by the student, the titles of the sections, and the additional materials of the manuals were described in our work. The methodical, individual, educational research tasks, control works, test and electronic variants of tests for current and final control, methodical materials for organization of independent work of students, individual tasks in LMS MOODLE are analyzed. Nowadays, for the purpose of improving the quality of mastering EL students and cadets, the implementation of blended learning system is organizes (integration of full-time and electronic (distance) learning). It is proved that all teaching and methodological provision of training of ship engineers in the process of studying EL corresponds to the requirements of the International Convention on the Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW), based on the competency and communicative approaches.
