Роль М. Ланге у справі організації вищої жіночої освіти в Одесі на початку ХХ століття

Abstract

У статті висвітлено проблему здобуття жінками Півдня України вищої освіти у ХІХ ст., проаналізовано роль наукової інтелігенції Новоросійського університету у справі створення вищої жіночої освіти в Одесі на прикладі діяльності вченого і педагога М. Ланге, розкрито його організаційну та педагогічну роботу на посаді директора Одеських педагогічних та вищих жіночих курсів на початку ХХ ст. В статье рассказывается о проблеме получения женщинами Юга Украины высшего образования в ХІХ в., проанализирована роль научной интеллигенции Новороссийского университета в деле создания высшего женского образования в Одессе на примере деятельности ученого и педагога Н.Ланге, освещена его организационная и педагогическая работа на должности директора Одесских педагогических и высших женских курсов в начале ХХ в. The role of scientist and teacher M.Lanhe in the organization of higher female courses in Odessa at the beginning of XX century is analyzed. The author highlights the historical background of the formation of higher education for women South of Ukraine (on the example of Odessa) at the end of XIX century. The role of the general public of Odessa in the opening of higher female courses is defined, the active role of Novorossiysk University professors in this case is highlighted. Indicated that it was the professor of this university M.Lanhe who destined to be the chief organizer of high school for women and, in addition, the first director of the newly established educational institutions - higher female courses – at the beginning of XX century. The role of the Odessa pedagogical courses led by Professor M.Lanhe as the foundation for the higher female courses is discovered. Activity of M.Lanhe as the leader of these courses is observed, the psychological and pedagogical legacy of this scientist is analyzed. The structure of the institution, which gives reason to call higher courses for women a new fundamentally type of university is described.
