ІСТОРІОГРАФІЯ СТАНОВЛЕННЯ І РОЗВИТКУ МОРСЬКОЇ СПРАВИ НА ПІВДНІ УКРАЇНИ У ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯХ НАУКОВЦІВ ХІХ-ХХ СТОЛІТЬ

Abstract

У статті розглядається питання становлення і розвитку морської справи на Півдні України впродовж ХІХ - початку ХХ століть. Наведено результати історіографічного огляду наукових праць означеного періоду щодо підготовки фахівців морської справи. Проаналізовано численні джерельні бази, які дали можливість констатувати, що проблеми військового і торгового флоту України, виникнення і розвитку південноукраїнських верфей і портів, а також функціонування морських навчальних закладів цікавили не лише істориків, а й були предметом наукових розвідок у галузі економіки, політики та педагогіки. В статье рассматривается вопрос становления и развития морского дела на Юге Украины на протяжении XIX - начала ХХ веков. Приведены результаты историографического обзора научных трудов указанного периода по подготовке специалистов морского дела. Проанализированы многочисленные литературные базы, которые позволили констатировать, что проблемы военного и торгового флота Украины, возникновения и развития южноукраинских верфей и портов, а также функционирования морских учебных заведений интересовали не только историков, но и были предметом научных исследований в области экономики, политики и педагогики. The article deals with the establishment and development of maritime affairs in the South of Ukraine during XIX - early XX centuries. It presents the results of historiographical review of scientific works within a definite period of maritime specialists training. The author analyzed multiple data sources, which made it possible to conclude that the problems with Ukraine’s naval forces and merchant fleet, with the emergence and development of Southern shipyards and ports, as well as with the marine educational institutions became a focus of interest not only for historians, but also were the subject of scientific research in the field of economics, politics and pedagogy. The article shows the results of historiographical analysis of scientific works in XIX - early XX centuries. The research demonstrates the actuality of the issue dealing with the development of maritime affairs in the South of Ukraine, as it escalates the growing importance of merchant fleet for the sustainable economic development of our country. The explanation of this lies in the growth of scientific interest in the study of the history of maritime affairs, observed the last few years. The effective use of modern ships and marine equipment is impossible without qualified marine specialists trained with respect to constructive experience obtained objectively by impartial study of history.
