Теоретичні та методичні засади запровадження кейс-технологій у підготовку майбутніх судноводіїв до професійно-орієнтованого спілкування

Abstract

У статті розкрито сутність кейс-технологій, визначено їхню роль у підготовці майбутніх судноводіїв до професійно-орієнтованого спілкування; сформульовано основні принципи, дидактичні та гносеологічні особливості кейс-технологій; наведено класифікації кейсів різних науковців; досліджено причини виникнення та розвитку кейс-технологій як ефективного методу у формуванні комунікативних навиків сучасних фахівців морського флоту. Автор підкреслює, що робота курсантів з англомовним кейсом допомагає викладачу викликати цікавість до вивчення іноземних мов, розвинути креативність, уяву, розумові якості курсантів, активувати знання лексики та граматики, розвивати уміння усного мовлення.

The article reveals the essence of case-based technologies, defined by its role in the training of future shipdrivers for professionally-oriented communication. In this article the basic principles, didactic and epistemological characteristics of case-based technologies are defined. Attention is also focused on the cases’ classification developed by different scientists. The article provides causes of appearance and development of case-based technologies as effective method of formation of modern shipdrivers’ communicative skills. The author emphasizes that cadets work with the foreign-language case helps teacher to promote interest to study foreign languages, to develop creative capabilities, imagination, cadet’s mental activity, to activate lexical and grammatical knowledge, to develop the communicative ability. The author comes to the conclusion that the process of work with the case promotes cadets motivation to study English, promotes better understanding of the case contents, helps to reveal problems connected with communication. Learning with cases lets cadets engage with authentic and complex problems and gain experience with diverse and unpredictable outcomes.
