Динамічний зв'язок термінів та загальновживаної лексики

Abstract

У статті висвітлено важливу роль спеціалізованої лексики для загальновживаної лексики; безпосередній зв'язок термінів та загальновживаної мови; процеси термінологізації та детермінологізації, які мають вплив на мовленнєву картину всього світу; синхронічна характеристика процесу термінотворення; розглядається питання співвідношення термінів «диспеціалізація» й «детермінологізація», про пряме та переносне значення спеціального слова в неспеціалізованому тексті; встановлено, що деспеціалізація і детермінологізація є двома наступними один за одним етапами освоєння термінологічної лексики загальновживаною мовою; загальнонаціональний характер процесів термінологізації та детермінологізації. В статье освещена важная роль специализированной лексики для общеупотребительной; непосредственная связь терминов и общеупотребительного языка; процессы терминологизации и детерминологизации, которые влияют на речевую картину всего мира; синхроническая характеристика процесса терминообразования; рассматривается вопрос соотношения терминов «диспециализация» и «детерминологизация», о прямом и переносное значение специального слова в неспециализированном тексте; установлено, что деспециализации и детерминологизация являются двумя следующими друг за другом этапами освоения терминологической лексики общеупотребительного языка; общенациональный характер процессов терминологизации и детерминологизации.

The article deals with terminology as an integral part of the cultural competence required by a modern educated seafarer. Due to the presence of this vocabulary in the set of knowledge necessary for the marine social sciences, the issue of the interaction of general used language and professional one is of particular importance. The article provides demonstration of the indissoluble connection of the general used vocabulary with the maritime terminology. For this purpose, the so-called dynamic terminological processes are used, because "without the general used vocabulary, by means of the artificial creation of new terms, an adequate representation of scientific knowledge in the language is not possible". The article reveals the relationship between the special and general used vocabulary through the terminological process, which is the transition of words from the general used vocabulary to the category of the terms. The author explains that in the process of terminology the sound of a word or phrase already existing in the language is used to indicate a new object or phenomenon for the purpose of special communication. According to the nomination of a new special concept, not all general used words are used, but only those ones which have already got well-known identified differential features and are found in the structure of the new reality. The article compares the processes of terminologization and determinologization; the latter one transmits a ready-made lexeme from one discipline to another with partial or complete rethinking. In case of deletion of the term from its usual environment, the process of determinologization is observed, the driving force of which is the functional reorientation. The article explains that just because of the frequent use of terms in newspaper texts, on radio and television, the wide dissemination of technical and scientific knowledge by all media, terminological units are gradually assimilated by broad readers, and, consequently, "words for specialists" are converted into "words for all people". Penetrating into non-specialized registers, this vocabulary enriches the general used language, gradually becoming along with this component of "cultural literacy".
