Комбінаторні потенції концептів БАТЬКИ та ДИТИНА в поетичних текстах з песимістичною тональністю

Abstract

У статті розглянуто питання комбінаторики концептів в рамках поетичного твору, яка визначається як один з лінгвокогнітивних механізмів реалізації його тональності. Дослідження ролі мовних засобів у процесі сприйняття та інтерпретації навколишньої дійсності здійснюється за допомогою різнобічного аналізу концепту, оскільки він є основною оперативною одиницею усієї картини світу. Враховуючи здатність людини мислити не ізольованими ког- нітивними одиницями, а їх комбінаціями, встановлено взаємозалежність між комбінаторними схемами концептів, вербалізованих в словесній тканині поетичних творів, та різновидом тональності. Виявлено основні комбінаторні схеми, актуалізовані в поезіях з песимістичною тональністю. The article reveals the problem of the concept combinatory in poems, which is determined as one of the lingvocognitive mechanisms of tonality realization. The structural linguistics approach enables the recognition of the facts that one of the main and essential features of linguistic units is their ability to be combines with each other or combinatory. The close interrelation between the language and conceptual levels of poetic text interpretation allowed drawing inferences about the universal concept ability to be combined with each other, as the mental process of text interpretation is based not on the separate concepts verbalized in poems but on their combination. The amount and the types of concepts actualized by text elements is determined by the communicative purpose of the poem and is aimed at the creation of specific emotional atmosphere or tonality. The article is intended to find out the combinatory potency of concepts PARENTS and CHILD in poems with pessimistic tonality. For that purpose we’ll operate main methodological principles of cognitive linguistics and study the effects produced by the combinations of concepts actualizes by verbal poetic images. Conceptual analyses of poems by American writers of the XX c. enabled the revelation of 7 basic schemata of concepts combination. We may state that concepts PARENTS and CHILD, when combined with concepts DEATH, ILLNESS, DETACHMENT, POVERTY, FEAR, contribute to the creation of pessimistic tonality at the same time imposing cognitive constrains on the realization of optimistic or comic tonality. It was also defined that combinatory potency of concepts AGING and FEAR is constrained by the poems which textual elements trigger the actualization of concepts MOTHER and FATHER. At the same time, obviously, concept STERILITY has potency to the combination only with concept MOTHER.
